My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights back in May and I have been meaning to give a good review since! I still think back fondly to our stay. Lynn was a most welcome hostess and we felt very at home during our visit. She was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting. The room itself was superb and of a high quality and spotlessly clean. It had all those little kind of details that make all the difference. One such detail was a mini fridge which was ideal for storing our picnics for the next day and wine for the evening. Breakfast was first class with a wide range of choice. They went out of their way to cater for us who were both vegetarians. I recommend this B&B, very friendly, high quality rooms and breakfast at a very reasonable rate. Location is ideal too being in the heart of the town.

My husband, son and I have stayed in the family room at the Alannah's last month in July. I asked Lynn for their website address before we left because I feel I must recommend this hotel to other people. Here you feel the genuine care and consideration for the guests. Although it's a hotel you feel you have everything you need just like at home. It's the first hotel ever that I even found fresh milk in the frige for making your coffee or tea. The rooms contained everything that you might need-fridge, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, shoeshine, sowing kit as well as the more usual hot drink and washing kits. I have to use a mobility scooter which had to come through the house to be charged each night.Lynn and Steve were very helpful and even though all the rooms are upstairs the place prooved suitable for people like me who have limited mobility. The whole place was spotlessly clean and the food was delicious. (i'm vegetarian and it prooved no problem to Lynn - she also managed to cater for a couple of vegans who were staying at the same time as us) my husband tells me the food of the carnivores was equally good.
